I’m Kaye van Loon, a photographer and documentary filmmaker working on documentary projects rooted in social and political realities. I focus on staying close to the people I work with and telling their stories from within.

I graduated from the Luca School of Arts in Brussels, where I shaped my documentary approach to visual storytelling. My work is driven by an interest in how personal lives relate to wider social structures and the social and political issues that shape our world.

Through still photograph or film, my goal is to connect with people on a deeper level, sharing their stories with care and attention.

Alongside my documentary work, I also take on selected commissioned projects where I use the same approach.
